Brock Engineering Launches Computer-Based Gas Storage Training Course

Gas Storage for Field Supervisors and Operators

This course is for field supervisors and operators in the natural gas storage industry who want to deepen their understanding of storage fields, storage operations, risk management and best practices. There are a total of 8 modules in this course with 37 separate sub-modules covering the following:

Gas Storage Basics
Well Construction
Well and Field Integrity
Wireline Operations
Abnormal Operating Conditions
Risk Management, Regulation and Emergency Response

Each of the sub-modules is 3-25 minutes in length and at the completion of each module there is a quiz to reinforce the information presented. A final test and evaluation are included at the end of the course. Upon receiving a composite score of 75% or better on the quizzes and the test, a certificate of completion is available for each participant. This course should take about 8 hours to complete and can be entered and exited at the end of any sub-module or quiz. The course can be taken on a smart phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.
