Brock Engineering, LLC Announces 2019 Underground Gas Storage Class Lineup

November 11, 2018

Brock Engineering announced today that it has scheduled its Underground Gas Storage training schools for 2019.  The schools are scheduled to be held at Western Michigan University’s MGRRE facility in Kalamazoo, Michigan in September and October.  The 3-day Gas Storage School for engineers, geologists and others seeking an in-depth look at gas storage will be held September 10-12, 2019.  The one-day school in Risk Management for Underground Gas Storage will be held on October 15, 2019.  The 1-1/2-day school for field supervisors and operators will be held October 16-17, 2019.  More details on the training schools can be found at www.brockengineeringllc.com.

Brock Engineering has been providing training in underground gas storage since 2016, with numerous schools held in Kalamazoo as well as in-house for various clients.  With the current emphasis on enhanced integrity monitoring of gas storage wells and reservoirs these schools fill a niche that is needed.  The following are a few comments from former class members:

“I attended the full course last year and it was outstanding. It was good to interact with young engineers and geologists, operations technicians, researchers, PHMSA staffers and others right there where all that core is housed at the MGRRE facility, WMU.”

“This course was presented very professionally and will help me on the job. I will recommend to my manager that we invite Brock Engineering to put on a similar course at (company name)”

“Very good class. The book is very well put together. Two thumbs up.”

“It’s so hard to find a balance between covering all topics thoroughly and not boring the audience. You guys do a great job trying to balance that. I really enjoyed how the days were split up with the exercises. It helped me stay engaged.”
